Chef Beca Tuineihails from Los Angeles, CA, where she worked in a production studio during the early stages of her career and won a Grammy Award for assisting with the production of Outkast’s Hey-Ya! She then moved on to the culinary realm and completed her formal Chef-training in Las Vegas where she proudly earned her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu, while also working at the critically acclaimed Wynn and Encore Resorts. She spent over seven years stationed as a Head Chef in various restaurants throughout the two world-class properties, cooking alongside a myriad of renowned chefs, and honing her craft in a wide variety of culinary genres– from rustic Italian and steakhouse, to French fine dining. A mother first and foremost, when Chef Beca had the opportunity to move her talent and her family to Connecticut, she seized it. In West Hartford she discovered great schools, a welcoming foodie community and experienced Chef’s like Billy Grant to cook alongside at Grant’s Restaurant in West Hartford. Now, Chef Beca is branching out into her latest venture: Nala’s Kitchen LLC. As the Executive Chef at Nala’s she artfully converts high-calorie comfort foods into healthy and enjoyable meals at-the-ready for busy families like her own.
