Spartan……

Last weekend I participated in a Spartan Race that was at Fenway park. It was an amazing opportunity to be at Fenway the way we were. Even though I am a Dodger fan. I trained as hard as I could for two months and ate really good. I was ready mentally and physically for this race.

I was happy to have accomplished a goal I set for myself. I couldn’t have reached my goal if I didn’t have the great coaches pushing and motivating us during workout, the supplements I started to add to my diet to help me recover and train harder and eating what I make. Its funny how I enjoy cooking everyone meals, yet I put myself last. For the past couple of months I was able to remind myself to make an extra meal for myself. I was eating clean healthy food. After the race I had a binge of eating fries, pizza, wings, and more. After my weekend of eating anything I wanted, I realized I don’t need want to eat like that, I was craving vegetables. I guess we can truly change ourselves in 30 days or more in my case.

I am very happy because I have kicked a few bad habits that were getting out of control. My coffee/caffeine was so high and was getting so expensive. I am proud to say that I don’t need any of that anymore. My teeth feel brighter already. I am happy to start this new wave in my life because I think I got an itching for a 5k run……
