I personally do not have any issues with gluten. Well I might have an issue of eating too much. Since starting NALA’s Kitchen I have tailored meals to be appropriate for people that are gluten free or following certain diets. I am amazed of the items that I can find that actually taste as close to the actual ingredient that has gluten.
I remember working in a kitchen a few years ago looking for gluten free products and because we couldn’t find 100% gluten products for the customer we would make a completely different meal for them. I am always concerned with the actual ingredients it takes to make the substitute, if I can not pronounce the name then I will not buy it or try it. It is very important to be conscious of what we put in our bodies. As cheesy as it sounds YES our bodies are our temples. We should treat our bodies with respect. I am glad I can make great tasting food that is gluten free for my customers.
That is my two sense! Gluten Free ingredients have evolved into tasting good with Non GMOs and organic ingredients.
**Side note-I wanted to get only organic foods for my house. I was that jerk that complained that I couldn’t find good tasting organic Oreos……
